Vaidyuthi Mobility has introduced the Gully100, India’s first electric cargo vehicle that you can drive with a regular two-wheeler license. This small change in rules opens the door for many more drivers, especially gig workers and delivery riders who don’t have commercial vehicle permits.
The Gully100 is designed for light cargo, in the 50–400 kg range. That’s a space where most vehicles fall short. Smaller scooters can’t carry much, and larger vans need expensive licenses and cost more to run. The Gully100 fits right in the middle: strong enough to move goods, but simple and affordable to drive.
This vehicle is made with working drivers in mind. It has two motors to keep performance steady even when it’s fully loaded. Its Breathe & Adapt™ suspension adjusts based on weight and road conditions, making rides smoother. Inside, there’s extra space for comfort during long shifts.
This means:
The Gully100 is first launching in Bengaluru, where fast-growing delivery demand meets rising pressure to reduce pollution. While some electric three-wheelers are already on the road, strict license rules have slowed adoption. This new vehicle avoids that issue completely.
More than just a product, the Gully100 shows a smarter way forward: make vehicles that fit local needs, not just adapt older models. It also proves that small regulatory changes can lead to big improvements, like giving more people access to clean jobs and helping cities lower emissions at the same time.
